According to a new post on the Writer’s Guild of America website, Godzilla X Kong: Supernova will film under the production title “Zeus” and is based on characters from Godzilla and Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, perhaps meaning the Monsterverse iteration of the classic kaiju SpaceGodzilla—a mutated clone of Godzilla from 1994 Toho movie—could appear in the film.
Deadline reports Jake Satow, Chandler Riggs, Casper Van Dien, Dominic Burgess, John D’Aquino, and Addison Bowman will star in The Last Time, a sci-fi/horror film boasting a monstrous new villain designed by Neville Page (Cloverfield, Prometheus, Star Trek). Directed by Shane Brady, the story concerns “a cursed hourglass capable of transporting you back to the last moment you saw someone when they were still alive. When a grieving college swimmer hunts down the hourglass, chasing closure, a predatory villain begins feeding on his grief, threatening to imprison him inside the hourglass’s landscape of memory and time.”
Empire has a new image of Ralph Fiennes as Dr. Kelson in 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, a film described in the article by director Nia DaCosta as “quite weird.”
The Russo Brothers also shared this mysterious image from the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday on Instagram. Speculate wildly about what this blur means in the comments!

Deadline reports Zachary Hart is the latest to join the cast of Assassin’s Creed in an undisclosed role.
Deadline also has word Drew Goddard (Cabin the Woods, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, The Martian, Daredevil, Lost, etc.) will serve as executive producer on Pagans, a new “supernatural drama” series at Netflix from creator Joshua Zetumer. The story concerns “a man who becomes the sole caretaker of his two children after the tragic loss of his wife. While his son is typical, his daughter, Alice, is anything but. What starts as a strained father-daughter relationship soon evolves into something far more sinister. Equal parts emotional, horrifying and humorous, Pagans uses genre to unearth all the dark thoughts that parents have, the kind of thoughts mom and dad are never supposed to talk about…”
