The New ‘Trigun Stargaze’ Trailer Gets the Band Together

Reading time 1 minute

With just over a month before Trigun Stargaze premieres, a new trailer for the Studio Orange series dropped showing off more of what’s to come in January.

Picking up two years after its predecessor Trigun Stampede, the sequel sees senior journalist Meryl and her new sidekick Milly Thompson on Noman’s Land once again looking for Vash the Stampede. Vash lost his memories after defeating his brother Million Knives at the end of last season, and is now going by “Eriks” in a backwater town that’s got nothing going on…until it eventually does, and Vash has to take up his gun and be a hero again.

The three eventually link up, as does Vash and Meryl’s gunslinging priest buddy, Nicolas Wolfwood, forming the classic Trigun foursome. But it’s not all fun and games: it turns out Knives is alive and kicking, and still looking to save his fellow Plants from humanity and complete death. Knives and his associates are just some of the threats Vash and the gang will have to face, including the still-mysterious Independent Chronica, more bounty hunters, and a puppet master leading a robot army.

We’ll see all this and more when Trigun Stargaze hits Crunchyroll on January 10.
