‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 3 Is Doing What You Hoped

Reading time 1 minute

Barely a few episodes into season two of Daredevil: Born Again, and we already have an idea of what’s in season three. Overnight on Friday, leaked set photos revealed what many fans figured was on the way eventually, but now have full confirmation of. Huge spoilers below the bar.

Cue the John Paesano music, because the Defenders are coming back. Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones is expected in season two, and now we know she’ll be joined by Mike Colter’s Luke Cage and Finn Jones’ Iron Fist next year. Some photos have circulated on social media, including some of Colter wearing a black vest over a yellow shirt, which Luke wears in David Walker and Sanford Greene’s 2016-2017 Power Man & Iron Fist run.

Over the past year, Colter and Jones have previously danced around or talked about wanting to return as their Marvel Netflix characters. But with Daredevil: Born Again already bringing back Jess and Punisher, you had to figure those two would show up eventually. Last we saw them, Luke was just starting to become a crime lord and Danny lost his Iron Fist powers, then got them back and was rocking dual pistols, so we’ll see where their stories pick up. As for Misty, Elektra, and Colleen, hopefully they’re not left behind during this mini-Defenders reunion.

Season two of Daredevil: Born Again is currently running, and season three will land sometime in 2027.
