‘Starfleet Academy’ Showrunner Teases Shocking Conclusion to Season 2

Mike Flanagan’s Exorcist has cast a former Supergirl in a mystery role. Production has begun on Sonic 4. Plus, God of War casts Thor’s family, and will Spider-Noir feature a new Electro? To me, my spoilers!

Mortal Kombat 3

Mortal Kombat producer Todd Garner recently shared an image of a completed script for the third entry in the franchise, suggesting it could come a little sooner than the five-year gap between the releases of the first two films.

The Exorcist

Deadline reports Sasha Calle has joined the cast of Mike Flanagan’s Exorcist in a currently undisclosed role.

Boutique

Deadline also reports Paul Giamatti will star in Boutique, a horror film written and directed by Lodge 49 creator, Jim Gavin. The story concerns play Calvin (Giamatti), “an American tourist who journeys to the eerie English seaside town that inspired the work of his favorite reclusive author, where he gets entangled with a murderous secret society permeating the whole town.”

Sonic 4

Production has officially begun on Sonic 4, according to director Jeff Fowler on Instagram.

Bury the Devil

A nurse discovers her patient is demonically possessed in the the trailer for Bury the Devil, shot in a single, continuous take.

Pinocchio Unstrung

Pinocchio resorts to organ harvesting in order to become a real boy in the trailer for Pinocchio Unstrung, starring Robert Englund as Jiminy Cricket.

God of War

Variety reports the show has cast Louis Cunningham, Ben Chapple, Evelyn Miller, and Island Austin as Modi, Magni, Gna, and Thrud, respectively. Modi, Magni, and Thrud are the children of Sif and Thor, while Gna is the commander of Odin’s Valkyries in the 2018 God of War.

Starfleet Academy

Speaking to TrekMovie, co-showrunner Noga Landau said that season 2 is “not the end” for the show, before describing the finale of the recently-wrapped sophomore season as “such a shocking ending, you do not want it to [end].”

Spider-Man Noir

Finally, the badges for CCXP Mexico have revealed new looks at the show’s take on Silvermane, Sandman, and what appears to be some version of Electro.
