The First ‘Masters of the Universe’ Trailer Has the Power

Reading time 1 minute

After years of trying and a Netflix sequel to the original 1980s series, He-Man returns to the big screen with a new Masters of the Universe movie, and the first trailer has arrived.

Directed by Travis Knight (Bumblebee), the film stars Nicholas Galitzine (Red, White, & Royal Blue) as Adam Glenn, who fled Eternia for Earth as a boy years ago. Now that he’s grown up, he’s returning home to retrieve the Sword of Grayskull, become He-Man, and defeat Jared Leto’s Skeletor. Along with those two, the trailer features longtime Masters characters like Teela (Camila Mendes), Man-at-Arms (Idris Elba), and Evil-Lyn (Alison Brie).

Look for Masters of the Universe to come out on June 5, 2026. Check out the official teaser poster for the movie below.
