Check In for the First Trailer for ‘They Will Kill You’

Reading time 1 minute

If you thought 2025 was chock-full of movies, 2026 is going to be equally big. Coming early in the year is Warner Bros.’ They Will Kill You, whose debut trailer promises plenty of gore, scares, and laughs to go along with them.

Directed by Kirill Sokolov (Why Won’t You Just Die!), who co-wrote it with Alex Litvak, the film stars Zazie Beetz as a housekeeper for the Virgil, one of New York’s “most exclusive” high-rise apartments. The reason for the exclusivity? It’s home to a demonic cult that’s been kidnapping people to use for monthly sacrifices. When she makes the connection between missing people and the Virgil’s occupants—and finds out that she’s next on the list of sacrifices—they decide to get rid of her. But she’s more prepared than they think, and now she’s gotta survive by fighting her way out of the twisty complex and put an end to what they’re doing… possibly with the business end of her flaming axe.

Also starring Myha’la, Paterson Joseph, and Heather Graham, They Will Kill You releases March 27 in theaters.
