A New ‘Mandalorian and Grogu’ Rumor Claims a Big Power Up for Grogu

Reading time 3 minutes

Taron Egerton is getting hairy for a new werewolf movie. Peacock will be the home of the new Clue TV series. Plus, meet the stars of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy in a new poster. Spoilers get!

Scream 7

Speaking with the NY Post, Skeet Ulrich stated he does not appear in Scream 7, after all, following the change of direction in the wake of Melissa Barrera’s controversial firing.

I’m not involved. I’m really excited though. I’m excited for Kevin Williamson to take the helm and to see what the mastermind of it all comes up with. I used to know [what the movie was about], because part of coming back for five and six was being a part of seven. It was a three-picture arc for Billy Loomis, or the imagination of Billy Loomis in Melissa Barrera’s character’s head. But when all that went down with her, obviously you lose her and you lose what’s in her head. I used to know what the seventh was going to be and it was really, really interesting. Now I have no clue. I don’t know how [Matthew Lillard’s] back. I have no idea, which I’m kind of excited for, to see it and not know.

The Mandalorian and Grogu

German-language Blu-ray site Blu-Ray Disc DE has an alleged new plot summary of the movie, claiming that the titular duo will travel to the planet Khar’Zuun and Grogu “discovers an ancient artifact that functions as an amplifier of his abilities.”

Alpha

Deadline reports Taron Egerton will star in Alpha, a werewolf movie described as “a fun, sexy, elevated genre title that explores the world of toxic masculinity, greed, and the mythos of success.” Pitched as “a cross between American Psycho, the HBO Max series Industry and American Werewolf in London, the story concerns an analyst at an investment firm reckoning with his transformation into a monster.

Hannah Goes to Hell

THR reports Krsy Fox, Adrienne Barbeau, Aaron Abrams, Elle Riot Fox, Daniel Roebuck, Kevin Keppy, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Yoson An, and Nelson Leis will star in Hannah Goes to Hell, a new horror-comedy from director Anne Wells. The story follows Hannah (Fox) “and her young daughter Louise (Elle Riot Fox) as they return to Hannah’s childhood home to assist her brother (Abrams) in caring for their ailing mother (Barbeau). Soon, strange encounters with the townspeople, a nightly demonic visitor, and whispers of a secret church ceremony fuel Hannah’s fear that something more nefarious is at hand. She begins to suspect it all could be related to her family-owned funeral home, and a deep, dark, not so buried secret belonging to their late grandfather (Roebuck).”

Animal Farm

World of Reel reports Andy Serkis’s animated adaptation of Animal Farm has been acquired by Angel Studios, the faith-based media studio out of Provo, Utah.

Untitled Dragon Ball Movie
