As Solar Opposites nears its sixth and final season‘s arrival on Hulu, a new trailer is here showcasing the chaos to come—as well as, amid all the Shlorpian-based shenanigans, the ultimate fate of all the tiny humans trapped inside a wall in the alien home.
While we love watching the selfish, raunchy, violent, ill-planned adventures of Korvo and company, we’re actually more interested to see how the show’s B plot, “The Wall,” finds its conclusion. We’re certain the Shlorpians will find a happy ending, whether it’s on Earth or elsewhere (despite that tease on the trailer that one of them has to die). But what’s going to happen to Cherie, Ringo (aka the Duke), Pezlie, and all the other victims of Yumyulack’s shrink ray?
There are just enough clues in the trailer to hint at an escape plan in the works! We also see the Pupa glowing a worrisome green color, Jesse and Yumyulack adjusting their approach to school, Terry mixing with monkeys, and Korvo trying to take charge—though we all know Aisha, the ship’s computer, is the real brains of the outfit.
Here’s the official synopsis: “Once their alien diamond making machine gets destroyed, the Solar Opposites must face their greatest challenge yet: living their expensive lives on a budget! When their consumerist habits and expensive hobbies are gone, only their true selves will remain…but will they like who they find? ALSO: The epic story of the people of The Wall has all built to this thrilling and shocking conclusion…”
Solar Opposites stars Dan Stevens as Korvo, Thomas Middleditch as Terry, Mary Mack as Jesse, and Sean Giambrone as Yumyulack.
Solar Opposites season six arrives October 13 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
